Auld Lang Syne (a tad bit early)

So this has been quite the year for me, I don't really remember most of the bad as a lot of fantastic stuff has happened to me in 2013 and so it's now time to think back and make wishes and plans for 2014!

But before that I've seen a few blogs mentioning what they got for Xmas, soooooooo I got a flash gun for my camera and I absolutely love it! A few pocket watches so expect photos of them real soon New iPod thank God, I had a mp3 player before so I'm so happy I can organise all my music again!  Oh, plus an awesome pair of head phones that are just asdfghjkl   Plus I finally got a macro lens! A Christmas pressie bought for myself hehe.  

This year for me has been pretty good.:bademoticon:  In 2012 I said to myself that I was going to put myself and my work out there and try and get some photography gigs and it worked! I got to take photos of bands, beauty companies and I am now part of a film company as a behind the scenes photographer!   But I think I can push myself even further and that's what I'm going to do.

I'm not going to talk about college cause we all know how that boat is rocking.... 

As for my life on deviantART this year it has been a whirlwind of a ride! :bademoticon:  I've gained over 200 watchers this year and I can't thank you all enough, I wish I could do it all individually but like in the last journal all of your support doesn't go unnoticed and I hope that the work I produce in 2014 won't let you all down!  

The two major photo's that really took off was “You Were Always Running Out of Time” and “Winter Magic”. As for my wee pocket watch it was quite the surprise when I woke in the morning after I posted it! I knew that DA was obsessed with pocket watches but I wasn't expecting that.   I posted "Winter Magic" on the 6th of this month and on the 24th at half eight in the morning I switched on my phone and received the news. I couldn't put my laptop on fast enough to see if it was true! I don't want to go on about it but all I want to say that I didn't expect my year to end like this! :bademoticon: 

Oh, I don't know how to finish this journal off um, usually my journals are a bit bigger than this oh dears. Ah ok well I can tell you that the first journal I'll be doing in 2014 will be on stolen art. Something came up on tumblr and I really wanted to talk about it.  

So 2013 hasn't long to go, I hope everyone had a good year and if not my fingers and toes are crossed for you for 2014 to be your year. To everyone who commented in the poll and told me your plans they all sound great, very inspirational! And now all that's left is the last wee feature of 2013.
