The Dust and the Girl II by VelvetRedBullet The Dust and the Girl II by VelvetRedBullet
Since I've started a new job, I've pretty much not got a lot of time. So, although I'm gutted about it considering how well I did last year, I'm going to have to do just one short project each month. Hope you don't mind!

I'm trying not too care too much about the work I'm creating and uploading, if that makes sense? Like I care but trying not to care so much that I'm worried that the photo is rubbish and just keep it in a folder to be forgotten. You know what I mean? Just trying not to worry so much instead of like, putting links up to other images in a poll, you know?

I know how you feel, since I've started working I've done no photography at all.
Fair play for keeping up with it. I love the mood of this piece!

Well I've always worked by the golden rule that I post pictures that I like personally. Some are more popular than others and sometimes I can understand it and sometimes I can't. One thing though is that I am true to myself .
you know I'm a big fan of yours and I particularly like it when I feel that you like what you have created.

Thanks Lawrence! I have a love/hate relationship with all the work I create haha but most of them tend to grow on me and worm there way up on here. I wish  could let go more, I feel like I did it last year but now that I'm working I feel like everything I do now must be great cause I can't work on it like I could last year. you know what I mean?

But I'm gonna try, again thank you. i always feel better after I read one of your comments :)

This is full of interesting concepts - certainly worth thinking about.

ITO putting stuff up, it's a tough balance to achieve. Care too much, and you'll drive yourself to drink/ ... Don't care enough, and you put up rubbish. The joy of dA is you rarely get savaged for below-par (what ever that means) work - you just get ignored. Which is also true for good work that is not understood/ 'trending'/ ... :/ But it does mean that you can experiment, and get feedback from a circle of peers - which one tends to develop over time. And sometimes stuff flies, and it is really cool!

Keep posting!

i've been over editing photos these past couple months. i get excited about taking new photos but when it comes to doing the whole computer stuff i just havent seemed to care. I got to a point where I'm like "lets just make it look decent and put up with it, at least it's practice".

I do like the composition in this photo. Interesting concept, I like the movement.

Yeah I totally understand what you mean. Whenever I feel like that about a photo that I upload, there is a big chance that I'll take it down later on.

And thank you sweetie :)

I don't take down my work much. But seasonally there's a time where I just cull things haha
